Once again, my sister has somehow messed up the home computer. Yes, I know today isn't Friday, but I'm currently trying to fix the computer's problem, so I'm using this opportunity to post this. For the past few months, my sister has been installing a buttload of stuff into the computer. The latest?
A rogue spyware called "Advanced Virus Remover". It annoys the user until they purchase it, and so, it's pretty much a scam, so stay the hell away from it. It took me an hour to get rid of it, but it left some side effects on my computer. Now, I can't access Facebook or even Youtube.
Scanning the PC, I have found 29 threats in my computer so far, and a majority of them are trojan horses. Lesson of the week? Stop downloading and installing useless crap.
In other news, Ms. Awesome has been shortlisted as one of the top 6 bloggers for the LURVE affair contest.
Ms. Awesome, I wish you luck for your screen test next week. Time to head off.
VERY POINTLESS UPDATE (2135 hours): Fixed the bloody problem. Now I have to reinstall some stuff. Again.
