This epic soundtrack is composed by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori (As usual.). This 2 CD set contains 17 tracks for a total of 114:59 minutes of epic win.
And because the titles aren't really spoilers, I'll post the anyway. Bolded for awesomeness and to indicate my favorite tracks.
CD1:
01. Overture (5:39)
02. The Rookie (7:30)
03. More Than His Share (5:49)
04. Deference for Darkness (6:39)
05. The Menagerie (6:10)
06. Asphalt and Ablution (6:03)
07. Traffic Jam (5:52)
08. Neon Night (5:37)
09. The Office of Naval Intelligence (8:50)
CD2:
01. Bits and Pieces (7:05)
02. Skyline (7:02)
03. No Stone Unturned (3:23)
04. One Way Ride (6:51)
05. The Light at the End (7:52)
06. Data Hive (6:04)
07. Special Delivery (10:23)
08. Finale (8:12)
Overture has bits and pieces of the Prepare To Drop theme in it, while The Rookie is pretty much the beginning cinematic of the Campaign with a bit of the ambient music of Mombassa Streets.
Deference for Darkness has part of Rain in it while also having the music from Campaign. In my opinion, Special Delivery is best after the 4 minute mark. Mainly because it's Traffic Jam without the guitars and the music from the ending cutscene, which BTW, really fits the mood.
Overall, it doesn't really sound like Halo, although it occasionally sneaks in some of the trademark chanting monks. I also like the inclusion of the saxophones and the guitars. Even though it doesn't exactly have the familiar "Halo" feel, it's still awesome.
P.S. If you haven't heard already, I've added 6 songs from the ODST soundtrack. If you're gonna listen to them all, be prepared to lose about 30 minutes of your life.
